Along the southeast side of the Pentagon, near the intersection of Fern Street in the South Parking Area, as well as in the far eastern section known as “Pork Chop,” located off South Rotary Road.

Description:

The Pentagon has two designated slug line areas: one near Fern Street and another in the Pork Chop parking area. Please refer to the map for exact locations. Ongoing work in the area may have resulted in temporary sign relocations, and further changes could occur as more people return to the office.

Best Hours:

There are no fixed pickup times. The earliest pickups begin at 1:00 PM, with peak hours from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The latest pickup is at 7:30 PM. In the past, the best time for pickup was before 6:00 PM when HOV restrictions were in place. Now, with HOT lanes operating 24/7, pickup patterns may vary.

Drivers:

Pull up in the queue and, when it’s your turn, announce the number of slugs you can take and your destination. Please follow proper etiquette—no cutting in line.
