Location:

Located in Downtown DC, just past Independence Ave and before the bus stop. The pick-up spot is at the fire hydrant near the Auditors Building. Like other stops along 14th Street, it shares the area with an OmniRide stop. Two lines form here:

Line 1: South of the fire hydrant at the bus sign is reserved for bus riders.

Line 2: At the fire hydrant near the Auditors Building serves sluggers.

This area strictly enforces a NO IDLING policy. If no riders are present, drivers must continue to the next pick-up spot. This spot is the last pick-up spot before the Pentagon, and buses are often full, pushing riders to seek slugging alternatives.

Description:

The spot is near the US Holocaust Museum and the Auditors Building. Expect heavy foot traffic from bus, Uber, Lyft, taxi, and car users. Drivers should be cautious of the bus surroundings.

Best Hours:

Between 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with occasional early riders. Due to strict no-idling rules, drivers should promptly move on if no riders are present.

Drivers:

Approach southbound on 14th Street toward I-395 from Independence Ave. If no riders are available, continue down 14th Street to alternative pick-up spots. This is the last pick-up spot in DC before the Pentagon. As a last resort, proceed to the Pentagon slug line.
