Location:

Downtown DC, between Pennsylvania Ave and Constitution Ave on 14th Street. The pick-up spot is closer to Constitution Ave on the Department of Commerce side. Like other 14th Street stops, it shares the area with an OmniRide stop. It may be the most popular pick-up spot on 14th Street. There are two lines forming in this area.

Line 1: The left line (facing the building) serves Slugs (Horner Road and Lake Ridge-Old Hechinger’s)

Line 2: The right line (facing the building) serves OmniRide riders.

Like other 14 Street spots, this is NO IDLING zone. Idling is strictly prohibited at this location and anywhere along 14th Street. If no riders are present, drivers must continue to the next pick-up spot, with the Pentagon being the last stop. This spot is popular as it is the second-to-last pick up before the Pentagon, and buses are full, forcing riders to seek slug alternatives.

Description:

This location offers ample space for commuters to line up, is well-lit, and protected by guards and bollards. Like other 14th Street stops, it shares the area with an OmniRide stop. It may be the most popular pick-up spot on 14th Street.

Best Hours:

Between 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with some early riders. Due to strict no-idling rules, drivers should promptly move on if no riders are present.

Drivers:

Approach southbound on 14th Street toward i-395 from Pennsylvania Ave. If no riders are available, continue down 14th Street to alternative pick-up spots. As a last resort, proceed to the Pentagon slug line.

Dropping off:

Drivers can drop off riders at any agreed-upon points along the route in the mornings.
